Kate Gillis |
Coach
Gillis stems from FCVBC and DHS former player as a defensive
specialist. She has coached at Ignacio High School, Miller Middle
School, and Four Corners Volleyball Club. She loves coaching
instrumental development in young players. She has recently
graduated from Fort Lewis College with an Anthropology Major.
Coach Gillis is entering her fourth year with FCVBC. |

Jen PItcher |
Coach Pitcher played high school volleyball for Pagosa Springs High School, 1993-1996. She took her
NCAA Division II experience to head coach Austin Waldorf Junior High School in 1999. Coach PItcher is
in her third year coaching for FCVBC's Pagosa Peaks Satellite Program.
She is married with three daughters, Aspen, River and Miah.

Molly Marlarsie

Coach
Malarsie attends Fort Lewis majoring in Secondary Education with a
minor in Sports Management. She is a life long Durango resident
and a former FCVBC player. She will be entering her third year
as the Head Coach for Miller Middle School "Angels" in Durango, having
won the 2011 Middle School Championships uner her watch. She
stems
from an extensive background coaching dance. |

Michol Brammer

Coach
Brammer is formally the Head Volleyball Coach at Miler Middle
School, and brings collegiate playing experience to FCVBC Programming.
Coach Brammer embraces partnership, skills information, and
enthusiasm to FCVBC. She is currently finishing up her master's
degree, while teaching in the 9R School District. Coach Brammer's
daughter, Jessie, is a FCVBC Member. |

Tom Jensen
|
Coach
Jensen is partaking of his fifth coaching season at FCVBC. Coach
Jensen stems from the former Southwest Colorado VBC 16-Team.
He is very studious in his professional development, and is a
fantastic skills and team partner with our FCVBC Members.
FCVCB is fortunate to have Coach Jensen on-staff, and we look
forward to his partnership for many seasons to come. |

Coach Stokes, having assisted Tom Jensen in 2011, is now at the helm of his own FCVBC Team for the 2012 Season.

Effie Christiansen |
Coach Christiansen stems from Valley High
School, Gilcrest, CO, where she was an All Conference Selection.
She earned a 7th Place Rank in Colorado at the MH Position.
She went on to play collegiate volleyball for two years
at Northwest College, Powell, WY. Coach Christiansen
continued her game through a college club program at University of Wyoming, Laramie, WY, and competed
in USAVolleyball 5-6 yrs. outdoor and indoor at various levels.
She has been coaching various levels from men's college club
to 5th grade girls recreation for 10 years. Coach Christiansen
owns a coaching degree and has coached Texas Club teams for 3
years from 12s to 16s.. "WELCOME, COACH CHRISTIANSEN!"

Colleen Keresey |
While attending Colorado College (07-11), Coach Keresey played setter and DS on a team
that has made the NCAA tournament 14 consecutive years. My junior season, her college team won
the SCAC conference, the West Region and finished 7th in the country. In the
spring of her Junior and Senior year, she coached the Doherty HS boys volleyball
team where they finished 2nd and 3rd in state. Coach Keresey graduated with a degree in
Psychology, moved to Durango and coached JV at Durango HS and assisted with
Varsity.
She has also coached many camps for all ages while at CC and DHS.

Thadeus "Thad"
Cano |
Coach Cano began coaching girls high school volleyball in 1991 at Alamogordo High
School, NM and has coach at Bloomfield HS, NM, Farmington HS, NM, Pagosa Springs HS, CO and currently at Ignacio HS, CO. He did
have to take a year off of coaching during 2010 due to starting a new bussiness, but is back. What Coach Cano enjoys most about
coaching is the life lessions that
is learned through Volleyball and the positive impact that Volleyball brings the

Anna Mekeel |
Coach Mekeel is moving into her fifth year
coaching club volleyball. Prior to her involvement this year with Four Corners, she
coached with Colorado Springs Altitude Volleyball Club (CSAVBC) in Colorado
Springs, CO. Coach Mekeel just finished up her second year as the Assistant Volleyball Coach
at Fort Lewis College. She was a four year starter at Fort Lewis College from
2004-2007 as a defensive specialist and was a part of the 2007 RMAC Championship
team. Coach Mekeel is an IMPACT, CAP 1 and CAP 2 USAV-Certified Coach and recently completed a
master’s degree from the University of Washington in Intercollegiate Athletic

Bayli Stillwell |
Coach Stillwell embarks on her second season with
FCVBC. She is a 2003 Graduate from Steamboat Springs High School,
and played collegiate volleyball at James Madison University .
Coach Stillwell graduated from University of Denver in 2009 with a master's degree in
counseling psychology, and is currently a guidance counselor and head volleyball coach at Ignacio High
School.
Coach Stillwell: "I love the sport of volleyball an am excited about the opportunity to coach
at FCVBC."

Tessa Andrews |
A
Durango native, Coach Andrews graduated from Durango High School with
All-State Honors. Her collegiate career proved amazing, having
attended NAU Volleyball, then MSC in Grand Junction. Coach
Andrews is a fierce Right Side Attacker, and has earned All-Academic
RMAC Student-Athlete of the Year, RMAC All-Conference, and many honors
reflecting her commitment to the game. Welcome aboard, Coach Andrews! |

Terene Foutz |
Coach
Foutz brings fifteen years of coaching experience, stemming from RMAC
Division II (MSC), CHSAA, and USAV realms. Her collegiate playing
experience at Mesa State College led her to partake of coaching
(WCVBC). She obtained her MBA with an emphasis in Leadership
Organization, and hopes to advance program offerings and quality
management practices to FCVBC. Coach Foutz (Coach T) is in her fourth season with FCVBC. Now, in
her fourth season as FCVBC Executive Director.
She has two
children, Maddi and John, with her husband of 17 years, Mike. |

Ron Becker |
Coach
Becker is the Head Volleyball Coach at Piedra Vista High School in
Farmington, NM. As our lead coach out of New Mexico, Coach Becker
not only brings experience, he also brings volleyball talent with him.
You will find his PVHS Players woven throughout our program,
changing the face of FCVBC. Coach Becker is extremely dedicated
to youth volleyball development in southwest Colorado and northern New
Mexico.
